can’t believe I missed this post...
the firewall is bent/dented different.. I was having an issue with the valve cover contacting the firewall...
after some research and comparison the firewall is indeed different.. so the different area was cut out and corrected...

the PO also had the bolt in AA V6 motor mounts to far back.. entire drivetrain being adjusted at this time..

    Digging up an old post...

    2016 update:
Very little has changed... motor repositioned and the correct pre 68 V6 grill sourced.

Fenders being sent down next week and hopefully more than that for a 2017 update.:D

My CJ6 just occupied too much time and resources... but that being fairly completed at the moment, there is some light at the end of the tunnel for my CJ5... hoping to get it in my garage in the next few months

A decade of dust on the floor of the tub..

the wheels and tires look great.
I’m looking for the front indicator lamps if anybody has a line on those.

my CJ6 is acting up (injection issue)
my 109 needs a new slave
The dauntless in my 88 is being rebuilt AGAIN due to bad machining...

but I did just order a slew of stuff from Walcks and currently sorting through what needs to be blasted and coated..

what would the correct roll bar be for a 60's CJ5?
what was aftermarket option... i know there was a discussion about this a while back, just cant find...

Pretty unusual to have one at all in the Sixties, I'd say. JC Whitney catalog? Dick Cepek? Sears Roebuck?

Early 70's the OEM bar sat on top of the rear wheel wells, with an angle iron base bolted through the sheet metal. At least mine did. I still have the bar around here someplace.

Ok, need a little help with some forgotten knowledge….

    1) steering column parts… is there a support bracket for the dash to the fire wall anybwere?
Also is there a part number for the floor flange I’m obviously missing,

    Wiring,

the red and black wire, red is constant hot.. unsure where this connects, horn?
