    Hey everyone
I was wondering if there’s a replacement dash available as I’d like to get rid of the ramdom holes and cuts on my current dash as well as go back to an original Speedo if I can find one.
I looked around and haven’t found much

    thanks
    Wayne

Someone makes a re-popped dash, I have seen them before, but almost all of the re-popped stuff has issues of some kind. I would place an add in Classified for an original someone must have one. I replaced my dash for the same reason you want to, to many people hacked it up.

Walcks also has ones with the gauge and control holes per-placed.

Note that there's at least 2 different versions of the Jeep dash...this one is the early style. Sometime in the late 60's, all the switches were moved to different locations.

The Walck's dash is absolutely the way to go if you can not find a original without holes or a radio hole cut in.
I have the complete dash from Carl, the panel, glove box door, and I also got the plastic glove box. No modifications needed, direct fit. I just prepped for paint, painted and installed it. Has the studs for the speedo. Glove box door also has the studs.

Yeah, mine was a real disaster, I patched it temporarily, until I get my CNC plasma table in April then I’ll make a new one. The repro ones can be pretty pricey

Or take your stripped original to a sheet metal shop, they can reproduce dash minus all the cutouts if you want to lay out stuff where you want it. Cheap here in Alaska, so it has to be cheaper elsewhere.

That’s an idea too thanks. I just want to have a Jeep speedometer again it has a wierd aftermarket one now that someone butchered the dash to make work.

As did I but sometimes the amount of work involved, not only in the patching itself, but also the follow on "make it look pretty" stuff just makes getting a fresh one more sensible.

Many good ideas here, like many things, a lot depends on an individuals skill set, abilities, tools and facilities, budget and the reason for the desired change, only the poster will have those answers, and we can only answer with our own experience. There is unlimited information on this site. Many question why a person wants to do something, to me , if a person wants to do something, we should do our best to help them achieve that goal. Good luck!
