Made this today... going to add some pockets around the tool roll, but I like where this one is heading.

My 1 year old china fuel pump wasnt holding prime on the 2a so I dove in to fix it. I decided it could be sucking air because the line was so old i think it was original. I changed it out for a hard line and saw a valve in the pump was bad. I put the old top on the new bottom because just the diaphram was leaking. It was pumping now but still not pulling from the tank. After all day messing with it I finally figured out the new line was clogged! must have gotten crud in it when i fished it through the frame. Also adjusted the acc pump and metering valve and its running better

How did you route the cable for the rear? Where did you mount the control lever? I am still trying to find the best spot.

I welded in a cowl rain gutter came out really good. The spot where the radiator support bolts on needed repair anyway aswell as the hood hinge needed welding. I feared there might be an issue with hood clearance but that wasnt a problem there is tons of room to spare. I just spot welded it across the front and seam sealed the inside.

Resized_20191128_094724.jpeg Also cleaned up some hood hinges, cut the weld out of the pin and repinned them. The ones in Farm Jeep Willy are worn to about 1/4" diameter so every pothole causes the hood to bang loudly. And in Penna, we've got a lot of potholes!

cut the weld out of the pin and repinned them.

Great work, I need to try that!
Did you just torch out the end welds, disassemble the hinges and then make a new pin?

Just grind weld flat, if it's indented, centerpunch and drill it with a 7/16 bit about 1/16 into the weld. Flip it over, weld side down over a vice open just enough to hold a 3/8 bolt. Give it a sharp rap with a hammer and the old pin will pop right out. Cut a 3/8 bolt shank to fit, drive it in, plug weld the end and bang, you're done.

No problem, its super easy and one more tip, if the 3/8 bolt shank is loose in the rolled part of the hinge before you weld it, give it a quick hit on the body of the roll, or a little squeeze in the vice to tighten it up.

Nice Hinge repair! From the factory they came with spring washers to help with rattling. I wonder if stainless rod would hold up

Don't know if would hold up any better but if you coat the hinge pin with anti-seize it will reduce the wear.
