A $4000 premium for some ground clearance :n: The off road trailer market is weird.

    Agreed.

I see a lot of little companies pop up selling off road trailers, but not sure how long they last. Seems like the people who would really use one would be capable of building one.

My $500 half-a-Ranger trailer has nearly that same ground clearance. Probably an equal amount if I ditched the stock rear axle / pumpkin for a straight axle.

Granted it doesn't look as cool and all matchey-matchey, but I can stuff a bunch of tree limbs or trash in it and not worry about scratching a $4K trailer either. Plus I have a solid aftermarket for bed liners, toppers, fender flares, etc.

I'd pop for the trailer on the used market if the price was right.

I'll keep my M-416 thanks. It looks cool, but not 5k cool. And only 1k more for bed liner. Such a deal. But for someone with enough money only has to go pick it up.
