Well this is not exactly a Jeep trailer, but rather any type of trailer enclosed, travel, flatbed. I am curious as to any thoughts about how often to check before servicing, and replacing of bearings. I just picked up a 2003 20 foot enclosed trailer that still had it's original tires on it. So I drove over the Cascades to bring it home about 130 miles.
When I jacked up the trailer at home all the tires had a bit of play, it seemed very easy to rock each tire back and forth. My guess is it had under 10K miles on it because I have a flat bed trailer bought new in 2002 that had about 10K miles, tires still had thread but I replaced the tires this summer. So if the bearings look good would I just clean and repack with a new grease seal or just install new bearings?

If it where mine I would clean and repack the bearings and replace seals.I jack up and check for play and growling noise about once a year. Tires are probably out of date . I replace mine ,but don't know what others have done. Tire stores say they won't touch them if out of date.

Thanks Mike I would go ahead and replace all the bearings if I had more time. Hopefully just repacking them will get me another couple thousand miles. Chances are I would have trouble installing the new races. I will plan on doing that at the new house after the raining season is over next spring. Already got 5 new tires for each of my 3 different trailers.
