I now know why ps fluid runs all over the floor. The rebuilder left the high pressure o ring out between the pump and body....

We're you letting it stand in the water to take a leak ? When you get old, sometimes it's necessary.

HaHa No, took care of that in the bushes just after the pic. Not much of a turning place, so I got its feet wet.

I "occasionally" forgot to cancel my non-canceling turn signal, so have been planning on adding a buzzer.

Done today! --an Icstation DC 12V 85db Active Piezo Electronic Buzzer Beep Tone (that's what's written on the pkg.:D) Couldn't find them locally, so had to go Amazon for a package of 2 for $7.99 (with free shipping)

Simply tinned/soldered the tips of the wires so they would be a little rigid and "plugged" it into my flasher--black to L and red to X. Then I covered the grill of the buzzer with two layers of bath-towel cut to size and taped it on the flasher body. Works great, plenty loud--heard above any road or engine noise.

Below--you can see a slight edge of the purple bath-towel "volume-suppressing material" under the wrap-around tape.

Not capable of posting a video for post #1680 regarding a turn signal buzzer, but think forklift/equipment backup alarm for sound. Still plenty loud with a volume-suppressing wrap on it. May need more suppression. I just got back from a run to a very busy July 3rd town and the "beep, beep" could draw attention.

I have a couple of resistors from a junk headphone that I'll try to reduce the buzzer volume with or, better yet, I might use one of the headphone slider volume controls. Thanks for the thought!

    jeep-armrest - 1.jpg

Got tired of burning my arm on the armrest lock cylinder...didn't like any of the aftermarket armrest covers...so just got some fabric at Walmart. Didn't want just black because it would heat up, couldn't match the Sahara green, all the tan looked like it would just get dirty.

Not sure how much I like this yet, but easy enough to re-do down the road.

Guy at work bought himself a “1970” but it’s pretty cut up. Drove in today just to park them next to each other.

Here's the old rigid line , that was hitting the motor mount when pivoting to tighten my P.S. belt. It was routed under the P.S. reservoir.

Here's what I did today.... Miss's motor mount by almost 2 " now.

The seller had been sitting on it for a while. I think he got it for an okay price for the parts that are in it. It’s definitely a “one piece at a time” special.
