    The last year or two of the CJ5 with the F134 ('70-'71) had a T90 that had a reverse light switch in the top shifter housing. I have one if you need a photo of the factory setup.

    If I have a pre 70 T 90, you think I need to get a shift rod as well or does the part just tap into the cover? I haven’t opened up my cover yet because I want to get some parts first, hate leaving things open to environment for awhile.
