    Hello.
As you can see on the picture, I have a front orange blinker but on the side, above the front wheel, I have a hole and a space for a rectangular blinker.
I would like to buy one, (in fact 3) I don't find them in France.
I could use an orange stuff made for an other make, it is possible.
But maybe you know where to get them in USA. If transport is too high, of course I'll try to find something in France.

And I was looking for a protection for the gear shift, as on photo. The rubber one was broken. I asked to the French shop, no more. So I did one in leather, it works, need some deo/adjustment :D cache levier 1.jpg cache levier cuir.jpg

    I'll check on ebay...
Concerning Walck, unfortunately shipping is 70$! It is not heavy, probably I could get a better price by a slow transport, but then you have -maybe- import taxes. I'll probably find a Mercedes or other makes which adapts correctly, at good price.
I already imported Jeep products but for more value so the cost of transport was interesting.

I have checked on E Bay... prices for Jeep parts are too much , X 3 or more. They wait for dumb people ?

Transport from US is quite expensive, and we never know if customs decide to add some taxes, etc...
There was parts in theory at the Jeep dealer, he answered me : sorry no more!
I can parts from car shops quite similar orange blinkers, price is 6€ and on E bay they offre between 30/50€ !

I'll take time to discuss with my local pro shop, we'll find something. I want to hide these holes.
At the back, there was also 2 holes probably for a reflective stuff.
I found at the farm machines shop 2 of these articles, exact size, price for 2 is 1,70 € !!!

That's a default value that is entered automatically in the shipping charges, when they ship they will charge you actual shipping cost & refund you the difference between that & the $70.

The last shipment I got from them about two weeks ago they refunded me something like $38.

Thanks. I know that it can be cheaper, but to Canada it is not the same as to France, you never know if the customs add some expenses and that is increasing the price of transport.
I would be happy to have the exact Jeep part but I have already many others so... wait & see.
I'll decide later. And I don't know if Walck takes Paypal. It is easy for me to pay by Paypal. No bank charge.

Yes I have Amazon Prime; I'll check. I was just disappointed not to find these parts in France at my Jeep specialist. To import them is not a necessity for me. Just for decoration. I bought books in the past from Amazon USA, they charge taxes, not good.
    Anyway thanks, I'll check.

    I don't know.
The idea is to put a side blinker at the rear left because there is a hole! So orange is good for me.
On the right side there is the spare tyre. Anyhow one more is good. Maybe I could sell them 4x on Ebay!

By the way I am astonished by Amazon organisation. I am not a friend of Amazon, I have read the life of Mr Bezos, interesting.
But the fact is that I order quite often. They have a big warehouse in Orléans, this is 60km from my place.

I ordered a Garmin watch for a son, 2 days letter it was in my letter box.
Even small small orders are delivered to my place free, with Prime.

I understand the process, but it is... amazing!
And Mr Bezos is the richest man. he is a "libertarian", I have look at these ideas, Reason foundation website, etc...
Philosophically it is interesting. But, other subject.

There is a hole in the center of the spare tire carrier. A round red side marher light fits in that hole.
In the USA, the two front fender sides get orange marker lights, and the rear corners get red marker lights.

Ah yes I'll check on mine. Orange and red? I don't think that this is our rule here. I'll fix the orange ones in the holes and then I'll see. I can get lights for farm tractors at the local shop.

Is there really no company in France that sells parts for cj's? Even in the Netherlands there are at least 2 companies that specialise in CJ and in Germany even more. It also helps to make a list of parts that interchange between jeep model years, it broadens your search field quitte a bit.

I had a good supplier, Jeepvillage, but it seems that they are changing their policy. I questionned them, answer = no more.
I questionned an other one, no answer. There are very few CJ5 in France.
So with the help of the forum, I made a search on Amazon, I have an account, no problem.
And I got the parts at very good price from... Germany. So you were right. No customs.

I don't need anymore parts now, all is in order. These 3 holes on the body were a mystery for me. Rust was interested.
    All will be correct now.
Maybe I'll add a round turn orange signal inside the spare tyre part.
In France turn signals are organge. Stop and rear position lights are red.

It is always happiness to have a clean CJ5. Maybe one day I'll sold it/her, good look. = good customer.

    Ahh- I understand.

These lights were not installed as turn signals- they don't flash. They are called "side marker lights" and are intended to allow a vehicle approaching you from the side at night to see you & tell them which way you're going. It seems a silly idea but they have been shown to reduce collisions.
