In my diagnosis practice ... You don't have to pull an engine to fix a gasket leak . Degrease & power wash your power plant, tranny, & differentials... Cold.
wipe it all down. Let it dry. Put cardboard under all. After that , run it a bit at Idle . Move it back & forth a few feet .The drips while most likely be right under the unit that is leaking.
Start there , first before thinking about removing large units, unless you have a plan to rebuild them.

Pulled my Tuxedo Park-CJ5's tranny and trans in a gravel dorm parking lot at Baylor University just to replace the throw out bearing. Jacked rear axel up and set on some jack stands, pulled floorboard, unhooked drive shaft, unbolted shifter, disconnected e-brake, speedometer cable, etc, and bell housing from motor, borrowed a floor jack from a friend at the tech school and it was out in an afternoon. Luckily security never caught me. Next afternoon stuck it back in and spent several more afternoons finishing it up . Wasn't easy, but I had pulled them two time before so they were fairly clean. I only had bare minimum of tools also.

Some go to a lot of trouble to fix drips only to have them still leak...Move on.

This coming from a semi OCD individual. :)
