1974 Cj5 Accelerator Linkage Bolt And Nut

    Can anyone tell me what size bolt and nut connects the linkage to the carburetor (232 cu in). See Jeep Parts Catalog F-74080 '74 thru '80 page Gr 4 - L 2 part numbers 4.070-6. Now on my linkage the top screw looks like it went into a threaded hole on the carburetor arm. Need to get it running before the weekend!

    I don't have linkage like that to refer to, but there aren't that many sizes it could be. This will be before metric, so I'd guess 6-32 or 8-32. You can get packets of these screws at the home center and compare with your linkage to get what you need.

    Thank you for the reply. As it turned out an 8-32 worked out just fine. Annotated my copy of the parts catalog with that information for future reference.
