I know it should be obvious ; but , can anyone tell me is the large nut on front of crankshaft retaining
pulley right hand , or left hand thread ? Just want to be sure before I start hitting it with an impact gun.
    1955 CJ5 F-head . Thanks

It Takes a 1and 3/8" socket something that not everyone has, I made one by welding a 1/2" drive impact socket to a 1 and 3/8", 3/4" drive socket, works good.

Thanks for that additional info . I am changing the engine , so have to swap crank pulley over. Forgot to ask what size socket to get . Should be making the swap in the next week or two .
