    Hello,
I picked up a David Bradley trailer yesterday. Needs sand blasting and paint but it's very solid. The tires however are not. It has 6.00-16s on it now. I'm finding that's not a common size anymore.
I see that size is readily available in NDT. I'm not opposed to that; they would look cool. However, I'm going to be towing this on the interstate and it seems like most of those are rated at 75mph. Not sure if they would work well at interstate speeds or be very loud.
I was also looking at Radial tires. I have 225/75R16s on my willys. They just barely fit against the body of the trailer. They are also a bit taller than the existing tires. Acceptable as a spare but I wouldn't buy them for it. Maybe a 205/70R16? There are options but they are expensive. I hate to spend $100 each on trailer tires plus install.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Ken

For 16" wheels, there are limited options. For radials you could look at 215/85R16. They're the right diameter but a little wide, similar to 7.00-15. They clear on my Bantam just fine. A smaller common size is 195/75R16. The width is good but they're a little shorter at 27.5".

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to measure the height of my existing tires. They are a bit shorter than the 225/75r16 tires on my Willys.
Are those Super Swampers on 16" wheels? Can you tell me what variety of Super Swampers they are? Thanks!

My wheels are 15" and the tire is the original Swamper, they do make it for a 16" wheel.

For my springs I used CJ2a front springs.
