Bad news is i broke the dipstick for the dauntless 225.....good news I got it out. My question is what is everyone doing to fix or replace the old ones. I have searched all over the internet and can’t find a direct replacement. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I'd suggest either buying a generic and cut to length. Mark it buy first cutting to appropriate length and then change oil when refilling oil short it 1 qt, and run to be sure all oil is in pump and galleys, then let it settle back to pan. Make a mark with a file, add the last qt. and make the full mark. Split the difference and make the 1/2 qt low mark.
Wrecking yards or laps should have something usable for a core.

If an AMC V8 is a suitable replacement I can send you one.

I welded my broken Dauntless dipstick back together.

INteresting panel. Looks like a row of BNC bulkhead connectors and maybe a larger type N.

Very observant! I was using the thick aluminum panel as a heat sink. ITLKSEZ gave me instructions on how to weld that back together and a heat sink was the first step.
