I have done that trick with the stud for distributer hold down. Sure makes life a lot easier with these clubb hands.

As I age, I find more desire for comfort. So, today I made a dash pad for the 70 CJ. Now if I fall asleep, it won't hurt my head so bad. Just now see that this thread doesn't have a file upload button. Pics, pics, pics, we want pics!

We got my son's engine for his Willys back from the machine shop this week, so we assembled the short block this morning. New 30 over pistons with plasma moly rings, crank turned 10 under, new Melling oil pump. Next comes cam and lifters and rebuilding the heads.

Funny, I just finished mine yesterday. 307 small block. Going in my CJ-6. Has a few Z28 parts. Wanting to go fuel injected so now I have to research some of those units.

Drove my Jeep today and got a fun surprise from a coworker. They know me so well!

It’s a late printing from 1983 but the original publishing was from 1963. Already read through some of it and a bunch of the directions check out by GPS. Cool!

That Is pretty Cool. One of my best memories is walking & climbing thru the old mines & camps in Leadville, CO. My imagination was on Fire. Just me... with my girl watchin' & laughin' , from our ' 69 CJ5. Ya know, some of those " roads" & trails are very much like the picture on the cover !!

I didn’t do anything to the Jeep yet today but I did get this in the mail, going to try and install it tonight. Hope it’s worth all the hype! Looks simple enough.

I Installed that same product in a 17 ' StarCraft runabout boat that I had about 15 years ago ! It was an I/O, with a Chevy 4 cyl. & a Mercruiser stern drive. It worked great. No more mess'n with points. I remember that I just followed their instructions and took my time. I think you'll be pleased : It's a good upgrade.-------Lockman
