I don't if you want it to be Original or just to get it going, but I have seen aluminum reproduction radiator's for about half that price on this site. Someone will probably give you a lead on where to find them. You could put a ad in Wanted to Buy for a rebuildable core and have it repaired, just a suggestion, Good luck.

Thanks guys. Not too interested in authenticity as long as it works. This is not a restore project, more of a keep it running kind of thing.

    Google, alum radiator,closeouts!
Each time I've needed a rad, I've found one on sale for
    Bout 100$
Usually got to fab them in though!
If bolt in is needed, good luck!
Speedway usually budget, and e Bay also?

Ha...never even thought about that! Screen name is from my job...I shoot radiation at people! Xray, CT, and mostly MRI. No radiation in MRI, but had the screen name since I got started. I still float to xray and CT when needed. Also, I enjoy a day at the range too. Have shot a lot of things in my day but never a radiator!

RT(R)(CT)(MR). Dabbled in Ultra Sound and Nuc Med enough to know I don't care for them.

its all very basic, and the hoses are flexible. if you want to cut the curve out, thatss your call. i highly recommend you do not though.

this is also an example, so maybe do a little research and find the exact one that you can make work for you.

good luck, keep us posted as to which route you take.

I have had really good luck with champion brand aluminum radiators. Same as the ebay link and maybe I even bought them on ebay but can't remember. They seem paper thin when you get any of the tig welded ones but they really do work well and last. No crimped connections to leak and I haven't had a leak yet. The only thing I would do to improve it is make sure there is a ground strap or shiny metal to metal contact between the radiator and chassis and/or a sacrificial anode installed maybe in place of the petcock? Either way I recommend the cheap aluminum radiators over the "all brass/copper" units which I've had leak too many times.

I've also had good luck with (on sale budget) radiators!
    From speedway, and e Bay?
I always look closely at their sale, closeouts and try to find 1 I can fab fit?
Ps-im cooling ( with no puking) a 455 Pontiac engine in a 1970 amc rebel,
    With a 120$ closeout alum unit.(No schroud).
Only bad thing I know, no drain plug. So I loosen lower hose when the need arriises!
If u can fab fit, u can save some $$$.
