Our 68' CJ5 currently has a old Ford radio installed that no longer works. The PO cut the dash and the existing radio just clips into the cut-out. It is a very loose connection though. Anybody know of an actual radio mount that I could install to give a new radio a little more stability? Thanks in advance.

I put mine in the glove box,

I made it out of galvanized steel and rivets. This way it has something structural and is fully supported.

My blazer was set up in dash like you mentioned. If you want to retain the hole in the dash. Use a piece of plumbing strapping. (Metal with bunch of holes.) then boot it to the back.
