    Anyone make a boot for the single 4wd lever ? Or did the factory have something different ?

    Don't really know what I'm looking at but I have used tie rod boots of snowmobiles before
    Ski Doo ZX chassis works well

    I bought a shift boot for a M.G. off ebay. it was a little bigger than my original but worked fine.
    I can't pull up the order but if you search for MGB, MGC 1968-80 New Rubber Gearshift Boot on
    ebay similar items will com up. [​IMG]

    Anyone know what it looked like from factory ? There are 2 screw holes for something. Not sure if it's for a boot or a cover

    My single lever d18 had a small round metal cover with rubber flap underneath (kind of like a through the floor pedal)...no true boot over the top.

    Don't know if this was original, but this was on mine when i bought it 23 years ago. Sorry not the
    best picture. I think it had a metal ring around it, but when i put in my sm420 , i had to modify things

    The last couple posts describe the single lever weather seal that was used from '64 at least through 1970.

    I used a re popped 1966 V 6 clutch fork boot, looked good for about a month, then fell apart, off shore junk. Going to look at the one John posted.
