My 58cj5 has the drum type parking brake behind the transfer case. The lever is on it but no other parts. I think I've read the handle was on the underneath left side of the dash. My Jeep has dual heaters under dash, I don't see how the handle hardware would fit with the drivers side heater there, maybe it was removed to install the heater. There is a small square cover plate on the floor between the seats, maybe for OD or PTO lever or a floor mount brake lever? Just wondering about the correct location for the handle on this model.

    Thanks for any info ,,,

    John

The cover plate on the floor is for the PTO shifter.

The parking brake handle assemblies come up from time to time on ebay. Another member was looking for one, and a couple weeks later, one turned up.

I think KAISERWILLYS.com has all the parts but a bit expensive.
