Generator Bracket

    My generator adjusting bracket is curved and the PO cut the end of the slot out. I was going to order a new one from Walcks but his are all straight. Should it be curved or straight?

    Mine is curved on both motors, I have GM one wires on both motors, but I used the original adjustment arm, and kept the generator and regulator for the sake of being original.

    Mine are also curved. I have the same setup as Rick Whitson does, including the original adjustment arms. I don't know how a straight one would work since the curve follows the sweep of the generator or alternator as the belt is adjusted.
