When I get around to doing a trailer I'm planning to run the same wheel/tire set-up on both the Jeep and trailer. That way I only need to run 1 spare, and can rotate all 7 tires during rotation. Most times trailer tires go bad due to lack of use, by rotating them in with the Jeep I'd eliminate that. As far as being able to carry 2 spares, figure I'll already have 3 because if I need a second I'd leave the trailer to return to it after getting tires fixed.

I actually just got the final tire for the trailer on Friday. Hopefully I can get around to painting or powdercoating my other wheels and get the springs fitted to the trailer soon.... But I don't see much free time coming up.

So I went ahead and lifted this thing last week to try and fit the 33x10.50-15's on it. It looks a bit goofy in the pictures, better in person, but I'm still not sure what to make of it, lol. I think 33's will improve things but.....

Not sure when I will have a chance to swap the tires on it. Hoping to find a good set of K/H wheels for it to match the jeep. Otherwise I will use the Firestone wheels currently on it.

Blasted a couple wheels yesterday. Same style as what is on it, but I'm gonna paint these two black as the trailer is gonna get pulled behind the JK a bit. Figured I'd at least color match the wheels.

I had the tongue and coupler revised- it now has a 2" receiver on the front so that I can put any coupler I want in it and also remove it to prevent someone from driving off with it easily. The extension works so that I can open the back gate of the JK fully so that I can get the drawers open and also slide the top to get access to the fridge.

Also added the black wheels and the 33x10.50-15 General Grabber tires and got it hooked up to the JK.

I put 33s on my trailer and had to re-arch the springs for fender clearance.
    Careful with your tongue/hitch length.
It will make it much easier for the tail to wag the dog.

Thanks, It tows great still... It did however break off road. I got real lucky that it didn't break on road. The shop that did it put the stress point right at one of the bolt holes from the old coupler and then didn't weld the back of the enclosure they put over the post. Shame on me for not recognizing that. Luckily we found a shop near Bryce canyon that had a welder they let us use.

Looks good. This is what I think I need for my boy scout camping. Especially if I can work some A/C into it.

They're Superlift front springs for a flat fender. Bolted right on.

I swapped left and right fenders. Outer lip now bolts fender to tub Fender is straight over tire. I run 33's with stock springs. Drag it all thru Rubicon never a rub issue.
