    I have a date with a wire wheel but first a question for the knowledgeable people here.

    Where are the high crack areas of the CJ5 frame? All I am finding is the aft hanger of the front leaf springs.

    I don't know about anyone else, but I did find some on the rear spring hangers as well. Specifically the driver side. Could have been an trail incident though.

    rear most spring perch at the back of the frame IIRC.

    Don't just weld the cracks. The margin of the weld will crack later because of the heat stress. Reinforce it.
