    Hello.
I tried to tow my new jeep (69 cj-5) with a dolly.
The kind where the front wheels are on the dolly and the rear wheels are on the pavement.
We were in snow, so the back tires did not free wheel, but were being dragged.
I had the transfer case in nuetral but that did not seem to work.
I have seen other rigs being towed, so I did not think it was a big deal.
Would lockers or a solid axle be the culprit.
    Thanks

I'm betting either you didn't have it fully in neutral or the brakes are locked up.

Lockers and axles wouldn't prevent the tires from turning.

I had a similar problem. The brakes were locked up. Washed the Jeep and the brakes froze in place. It's cold up her doncha know!
