Just wanted to give a shout out to Waldron, website says 6-8 weeks but I got my full system for 67 w/ 225 on the doorstep today 10 days after ordering. Looks incredible, solid quality welds etc. Customer service was great as well, would highly recommend. I'll follow up when mounted.

Did either of you go with a stainless system?

I found when I did mine adding a brace from the transmission down to the cross over pipe added to the support of the system..Also my system has no gaskets from headers to pipe. just tighten an tap with a light hammer an it will seal fine..not sure, but a mechanic friend told me to do that, an it worked fine.

wonder if anyone has done this system with the tank in the rear like a '71. because that is where the muffler goes in the older cj's. i would love to buy one of these systems but not sure if it will work. it states 66-71 but like i said the older cj's have the under seat tank

I called them and chatted about this exact issue over a year ago - they said they could work with that pretty easily. I think I even emailed them a photo of the FSM page that has the late 70 and 71 exhaust routing with rear tank. I am pretty sure they quoted me the exact same price as for a standard 66-early 70 exhaust. In the end, I ended up going with a local shop for a bit cheaper....but all my dealings with them were very encouraging and helpful, and certainly would recommend at least chatting with them.

I purchased a Waldron system for my '70 V6 - Y pipe and standard muffler. It came quickly and installed without any issues. Great product and I highly recommend them.

I have a 71 V6 all original with the tank in the rear and Jon was able to accomodate and make a system for it. I went for the SS option and love it.....great people to work with.

I wanted to but the stock ypipe i had wouldnt work after i put a lift on. The driveshaft hit it. Anyone have them work around that or having both manifolds dump to the back? --ps added...
