Bought some new tires. 31x10.5x15 Mudstar radials. Set of four =$490 delivered to the house. They ride good although I've only made a few trips around town.
I also got the Jeep registered and a tag two weeks ago. First time it had been registered in 14 years.
I also gave the ol Jeep a coat of lusterless camouflage sand for now. It evened out all of the other colors and being flat, it would be hard for me to mess it up!

    Rootpass,

Is the Jeep pictured affectionately called, "That Thing"? If so, it looks stretchier than my lifted 1967 CJ5! The flat color "sand" looks just fine. Good aggressive rubber. Bet it's nice to have it out of moth balls -- street-ready and registered.

I saw them on a 4x4 S-10 and the guy said he was getting good wear out of them. It is great to have it on the road!
and yes this is what my wonderful wife started calling "That Thing". That thing in the garage, etc.

Looks good. I bet some canvas tail gate chain covers would look awesome on that.

I bought a set of those for the CJ2A last year right after I bought it. They seem like decent tires. I put them on my son's S-10 pickup shortly after, and they've been fine. Seems like a decent tire for the price.
