The guy I bought this 5 off said it didn't have a lift on it but I think it does. The axles are out of a 78. The tires on it now are 31x10.5x15 on 15x10.5 rims and there seems to be plenty of clearance. The guy had pics of it with 35x12.5x15 AT's that he was running on it the way it sits now. Any ideas? I'm looking for new tires now and am trying to decide on sizes. Thanks.

That definately looks like it has some sort of lift. I'd guess at least three, maybe four inches. It's a little hard to see, are the springs mounted on top of the axles (spring over)?

I've got 31x10.5x15s on my 5 and I have nowhere near that much clearance. I'd say lifted some how (body lift?).

looks to me to be 3" if lift. 4" lifts look like very arched springs and those dont look like they are arched that much.

If there is no body lift I would safely say it has 4" of lift.

Thanks, I knew it was lifted just wanted a few opinions on how high. I'm trying to decide between 33x12.5 and 34x10.5 mud tires.

Here's a shot with 31's and no lift.

With the lift you have, I think you would be very happy with 33's...

I'd agree with everyone. Looks like about 3 inches. I've got a 2 1/2 inch Procomp with 1 1/4 inch shackles and it looks like it's about as tall as yours. I've got 33" swampers on my CJ and am very pleased.

    Good luck.
