We'll I just completed a rebuild on my 2bbl rochester 2g. The rebuild was successful to eliminate my hesitation on acceleration, but created another issue. I'm experiencing flooding after the Cj5 sits for an hour after being warm. Starts perfectly when cold and runs great while driving. Float adjustment or needle mix adjustment?

Any direction is great. Quadrajet and Mike Carb parts were Great.

Sounds like the float level could be too high. When you shut down, the fuel in the bowl gets warm and expands, overflowing down the carb throat and causing the flooding. Double check the level adjustment

Thanks - will check level. Only had trouble with the float during rebuild. The specs made no sense, so I tried to compare to the original float setup.

    Float level - 5/32"
    Float drop - 1 5/8"
    Pump rod - 1 1/16
