Sorry for being a Noob, I posted this thread on the wrong forum. I put it under the CL and Ebay page. I am sorry for the double post.

I have read all Posts and Links on the web about power steering pump brackets and somehow I cannot truly tell what vehicles came with these hard to find brackets. I always find an ambiguous post like, Late 60s & 70s Buicks, but not all cars have them. In addition, those vehicles came with different type of engines that I am not sure if the bracket lines up. I do want a more specific answer. I am converting to Power Steering a CJ2a with an oddfire 225 in it.
    Things I know:
    1. The bracket has an aluminum part and 2 other parts to hold the pump.
    2. 1970 Buick Skylark with the 350 engine might have it.

Things that I need to know are:
    1. What specific cars have the High mount power steering pump bracket.
    2. Where can I find these brackets? I have been to 3 Junk Yards and unfortunately most cars that I looked at had the low mount that gets in the way of the Steering shaft and forward dump exhaust.

Thank you for reading this post. This is my first CJ but I grew up watching my dad drive his own CJ2a. I have other Jeeps as well. Also, this is my first post on this Forum. I beforehand thank you for all the info you will provide.

Also look at '68-'71 Wagoneers and Jeep Pu's with the Buick 350.

there's a NOS Buick 350 aluminum pump mounting bracket listed on ebay.
Google 1378150 (Jeep part number) and it should come up.

All I have right now is the aluminum bracket.
So what's a fair price for all 3 of the high mount brackets and an original working pump ?
What all kind of pumps will fit onto those stock high mount brackets ?

I know that it was alot of Cash but I ended up paying $165 cash for a used one with that included the pump. I just needed it to get my flatty going. Like I said, I have been looking for this bracket for quite a while going to different Junk Yards. Thanks for all your help. I hope this thread will help someone else who has been wondering which cars came with the High Mount bracket.

I've used the bracket shown above, it's nice because with the aluminum it's a match for the alt bracket on the 225, but I've also used the '75-'76 (and probably more) Buick Skyhawk with the 231, high mount bracket all made of steel.

I used the all steel one as well. I got it off ebay and it bolted right up to my 225 no problem. I then got a Saginaw box from a 1991 jeep yj and the whole setup works good. I ordered the pump from rock auto for $35 bucks. Oh and I ordered the tie rod kit from herm the overdrive guy. It was all pretty much bolt in with exception of the Saginaw bracket, I had fabbed up at the local shop. If you want some picks of my setup let me know.
