Early sun visor

    I've seen a not-to-clear pic somplace of the sun visors apparently used in the first year or so of production, these had a swing-arm arrangement that seemed to allow them to be swung around a bit rather than the two piece arm setup used later that just lets them be flipped up & down.

    Anyone got a set of these that you can take some nice clear pics of?

    Howard my CJ6A has those, however they are removed at this time. I will try and get a photo for you. Interesting enough the Beechcraft KinAir had the same mechanism for a number of years.

    You know, from the one fuzzy pic I had I was thinking they were what Piper used in Cherokees :)

    During spin training in one particular plane every time the break occured the g force change resulted in me getting smacked right on the nose by the visor. :D

    I only remember the fold down green tint visors in the Cherokee, but I did my training in a Grumman Yankee! Sin training in a C150! Good times. They very well may have been the same in early Pipers.
