it took 3Qts of PPG 2013 corvette red tint coat and 3 passes just to get coverage on the body, windshield, grill, tail gate hinges and wind shield motor cover. Then I hit with 5 coats of PPG 2 stage clear,(1/2 gal). I still need to paint and clear hood, fenders, tailgate and dash.

Lovin' all the pics, looks like some fairly straightforward repairs. That transmission looks a lot like an sm420 with that P.T.O plate. Even has the same shift stick as mine

Very nice in all respects. That's a beautiful red. I like all the body work, too. Smooth.

    also got the grill mounted:

    windshield is back together:

Back together minus fenders and hood:

I have it running and everything is working....then I go to push in clutch and nothing!
    so out it came:

Didn't find anything that stood out as being wrong. Put it back in and still nothing. Still working on the clutch problem. I can see lite at end of tunnel, but it seems i take 1 step forward and 1-1/2 backwards. Once i figure out clutch problem then I can put on fenders and hood. Then only thing left is new roll cage tied into frame and integrated seat brackets, so I can mount my seats.

That jeep is a knockout -- really nice. Will the Hooker headers will fit inside the fenders??

Yes, the headers have been on the jeep since the early 70's when my Dad put them on. I just prettied them up some with header paint.

Wow! Looks awesome! Would love some info / sourcing on:

    - dash panel - loooove the carbon fiber look
    - fittings through firewall for heater hose
    - wiring and wiring harness loom - any relays? Love the braided loom ... Painless?
    - interior coating on tub - how's the lizard skin working vs what you would expect from a bed liner?

fantastic work ... Hope mine looks so good one day!

    Thanks davistroy!
i covered the dash with some 3M 3-d carbon vinyl. It was cheap and easy. I'm also doing this with the center of the hood and clear coating with the paint. This will make a little shinny, so I'm experimitting with flat clears to see if I Like the look. I'm gonna re-do dash to match once I figure out look I want.

On the through firewall heater hose fittings, I bought These thru Summit Raceing, they are by Billit Specialties.

The wiring harness is a painless product I had put in Jeep right before I wrecked it. I did run relays. Braided look is from painless.

I like and hate the lizard skin! It really quieted down all the sheet metal. My biggest complaint is it is already getting "chalky" looking when something gets drug over it. If I had to do it over I would just rhino line the interior and do the lizard skin on the under side.

    Looks great.
While you have the trans out I'd convert the t-case to twin stick and remove the interlock.
