I have a transmission from a F-head CJ6 with the optional T98. Does anyone know where I can get the trans mount that goes on the crossmember? There isn't anything left of the one I have.

    Thank you.

oneakers on ebay. He's in Oklahoma. I believe that the t98a mount is the same as a 72 -79 four speed jeep. I've bought a couple of 'em from him.

Do you also have the crossmember for the t98a? It's a regular crossmember with an additional tab welded on to accomodate the rear trans adapter mount holes. If not, you can make one with a piece of square tubing. It isn't as pretty, but I've been using a homemade one for a few years now...

The guy gave me the trans (with chevy adapter) t-case, OD, driveshafts and the original t98 crossmember. We plan on installing it this week.

When I installed my t-98 on my 57 cj5, I attempted to locate a new mount and was told there wasn't anything on the market to replace my old one. The one shown above doesn't look like mine. Let me know if it works. My mount has a steel plate the rests into a rubber cradle. It likely not supposed to be like that. I put some additional rubber in the bottom of the cradle.

Did it fit right up? I have always wanted to find a new one. My mantra is leave well enough alone. Got enough things I have to fix

Yeah, it's a pretty good fit for an NRS part.

The mount listed above worked beautifully. We did my engine mounts to while I was at it
