My dealer received my TrailHawk after almost 3 months since it was ordered. Decided to trade-in the Wrangler instead of selling it.
I just happened to be there doing paper work when it arrived. I will pick it up tomorrow.

Here it is fresh off the truck:

Umm I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but your windshield wiper appears to not be touching your windshield ;)

    So how is it?

I drove another V-6 they had on the lot. OMG that engine has some power. The ride is firm but not harsh and handles very well.

I did not get to drive mine. They were literally taking it off the truck when I walked out to do the test drive. My sales guy did not realize it was mine until I looked at the window sticker.

I just read the JP review in the NOV issue.. You will have to give us your full evaluation... I'm sure it's nice in a very different way than the Cherokee it replaced. I am biased, as the owner of four XJ's I tend to be a bit obsessed with them.

Your's looks way nicer than any other pic I've seen of them, I think they're growing on me or are subtly changed from the test driven ones.

I didn't like the Grand Cherokee when they first came out either...now I'm driving one.

    Congrats!

They look way better in person then they do in pictures. I will have to take some pics with my real camera and not my cell phone.

Its just happy to see him!

That looks pretty good. I'd like to see one in person. I can imagine that 260+hp in that small vehicle would get up and go pretty well.

I was able to spend some time behind the wheel last night.

    1) I absolutely love the seats in the TrailHawk. I have never had a vehicle that was this comfortable. I think they are better than my wife's Solara SLE.
    2) The transmission was a bit jumpy the first 10 miles or so but it has smoothed out. It must be learing my driving style. (Yes it is an adaptive system)
    3) The V6 is awsome. Plenty of power to move the vehicle. Sport mode on the select terrain system only enhances this. There is a little growl on acceleration but while cruising you can not hear it.
    4) The ride is smooth and carlike. Even going down the road I refer to as Boulder Alley (lots of heavy truck traffic has caused sections of the concrete to subside)
    5) The suspension is firm but not harsh. There is a little body roll in turns. I mean just a little. After driving the Wrangler this feels like it is on rails. It feels better then my wifes Solara Convertable.
    6) Handling is crisp and it responds well to steering input.
    7) The Tow Package comes with seperate plugs for the 4way and 7way connectors.
    8) Did I mention the seats. :)

Voice command available for every function of the entertainment system and even the climate contols. Supposedly also controls the NAV which I don't have.
I won't be able to tow until it has 500 miles on it so that review will have to wait.

I did not get the cold weather package but the heated seats and steering wheel come with the leather package. And at 38 degrees this morning it was nice.

we had 2 side by side in the service lane yesterday and the one was higher than the other. Not sure if it was a package thing or just 2wd vs 4wd. I think we're going to be getting one this summer when they clear out the model year. Patriot will be paid off in June too.

The difference is the Active Drive II system. It provides a 1" lift over the 2WD and Active Drive I system. AD II comes default on the Trailhawk and is an option on the Lattitude and Limited.
