Absolutely love it . my old rig had a lot of frAMe repairs and it was time.
I roll with mostly long rigs and I was too close to falling over . I definitely don't have that problem now .
twists super nice for a boxed frame . lots of droop travel, low cg with big tires. ride is less choppy ,tows fantastic, able haul more stuff comfortably .really glad I did the dove tail ,it's hardly noticeable and work fine for this rock beater .

    hr's of effort wasted today
the 2 tres on the passenger side were moving around quiet a bit .the drag link one was no problem and changed out easy . the tie rod one at one point was loose on the lock nut and that small movement killed the threads inside the tierod . when tring to unthread the tre the threads were not happy and I snapped off the tre from the threads . SO I weld a pinion nut to the threads left and got it another 1/4" out with heat before I again twisted the nut off the threads . sucks ....... I run the tie rod kit from Big Daddy Offroad they are super thick and solid .Never had a problem with them. going to have to order another set ,because the lock nut was loose . bummer

That sucks, i always get discouraged when stuff doesn't work like it is suppose to. You could always build your own with DOM tube. check out ruffstuff.com decent prices and lots of builder parts.

meh , that to me is acceptable damage it worked fine
super happy with the product , just got loose .and that's my fault. ordered a new one from 4wp for 100bucksand it's solid not tube .
this time I'll use anti seize and red locktight

I couldn't buy a stick of dom and the correct threaded ends and weld it up for that price .

You did a lot of welding in your rebuild. What set up did you use for the body panels. I was given a set of rusted fenders and want to repair them. I get the cut out part and a have galvanized 22 gauge sheet to refill. Do I weld it or gas braze it back into place. I own neither gas or a welder right now. Help direct me on this purchase please

I used a small 110 v Lincoln mig welder for the body panels and a 220vHobart mig for all frame work....... way too much heat with gas welding your flat spots panels will all warp and cause you more problems . and please be careful I believe you can't breath the fumes off those gal metal .start another thread and ask

Definitely get some clean 16g steel for your patches. Galvanized contains lead and other bad stuff that you won't like. Your welder won't like it either.
