Just want to add source of supply for old school fender flares, these do not have cutout for side marker lamp. The company is a supplier to many Jeep parts houses, I tried to get them from a distributor but had issues getting the exact ones I wanted (no cutout) so I was able to buy direct.

I'm on my second (3rd? ) set of those. They look as good as any I've found, but they start cracking in short order...

They do seem a little stiff (brittle plastic), I haven't had any issues on one season of use. I run in sand and mud, not much rocks and haven't bounced off anything yet, but I know that would split them.

Can anyone vouch for the longevity of these flares since the original postings here?

As I said before they are a bit brittle. I have cracks in three of them. I just super glue them back. I wish they were made of a a material that was more flexible. They look great though. I won't be buying another set when these are un serviceable.

They don't hold up in Aridzona, either. The constant unrelenting sun gets to plastic items. Main reason you don't find OEM plastic parts in the recycling yards around here.

    jhuey,

That link is great. The dash storage boxes with the speakers holes are quite snazzy. Thanks for posting that.

Thanks. Just wanted to double check. At that rate I'd rather try to make my own or just install later flares...

Mine didn't hold up for very long. Got some stronger flares from Collins Brothers.

That quality craft corp is the company that makes the CJ5 half doors. I had a thread about those a while back. They actually got enough orders to make another run. If anyone want's something different, I'd recommend buying a set. They are over priced, but hey, it's a low volume production thing. I actually just got one of those rear fender mounted storage boxes...it's pretty cool.
