Spring Perch

    Howdy all:
    OK going to reindex the rear axel on my 74. I bought a pair of Currie anti wrap spring perch for the Dana 44. These perches are a little wider than the springs, Is that going to be an issue of some sorts.... It just kinda looks funky

    Will the u bolts fit around the perch and into the top plate? A pic would help. If the u bolts are straight I would think it would be fine. I need to do this to mine.

    Haven't broke it down yet but I believe the u bolts have plenty length. They are Stainless aftermarket and I have not cut them yet. I will try to get pics of the process

    I believe what 2manytoys is asking is will the wider spring perches be wider than the bolt holes in the spring plate? This would cause misaligned ubolts, and not vertical.
