    64 cj5,
Does anyone know what the factory clearance is between the axle and frame, stock springs ?
Trying to determine how much arch mine has lost. My fronts springs are 7 leaf.
    Thanks

X2 on that question - 62 CJ5 looking for what the stock rear height would have been.

That data does not exist in that form, AFAIK. Sorry.

Most just assume that old springs are worn out.

I,m sure someone out there has an educated opinion. Don,t
want to replace them and have the same clearance.

I generally judge condition of leaf springs by the unloaded position of the shackles at rest.
If the shackles rest at an angle of 45* or greater, then the leaf springs are not servicable.
