    YOu mean a trailer...or a
    tow rig?

We just tore my '67 J3000 RV down to the frame...I don't plan to rebuild the RV but with the 165" wheelbase I plan to make it into a flatbed. I think it will look sweet toting around my CJ5.

I did but upon further inspection of the frame it's toast. So now it's scrap :( At least I Have a '73 cab and front clip...now I need a frame! I wonder if I could put a J truck cab on a CJ frame? LOL

Here's ours. Use to be a small Bobcat hauler. 5000 lb. axles. Built solid. Went to look at it a couple months ago in 2 degree weather, saw the lug pattern was Jeep, told him I'll take it. The 2a fits perfect on it. Weigh's 1240lb's.

id like to build one like this someday. Keeps the cog low and Jeeps have the ground clearance to pull it off.

Not a "hauler", more of a "puller". Here's my old-school tow rig: 1/2-ton '72 J4000 (4.09 Dana 44s w/ drums, TH400, Dana 20). All stock right now with the exception of a Holley two-barrel, but I'll be changing that. Planning on some airbags for the rear, 3/4-ton axles with front and rear discs, some good shocks, and a 4L80E tranny and NVG241 T-case. I'll keep the stock 360 but I'll rebuild it with a hydraulic roller cam, injection, and maybe some Edelbrock heads. Oh, and a bench seat without a big hole in the springs under the driver's arse.
