Anyone else have a problem with their speedometer cable getting cooked by the V-6 passenger side exhaust manifold?

I did. I replaced the cable and installed some heat wrap I got from Summit racing. Its been in about 6 months, so far so good.

I have to run it pretty tight to avoid the manifold. It puts it into the firewall at a fairly accute angle. I think that is part of my sticky cable problem.

I tried to cover it with rubber fuel hose. Hope it works.

Looks good Scott. That should take care of any future problem.
