T86 shift tower

    I have a column shift T86 from a Wagoneer that I want to change to floor shift. Will a shift tower from a T90 work or are they completely different?

    You can use the T-86 shift tower but one of the forks must be changed. I want to say the second/third but can't remember for sure. The transmission will need to come apart to remove the side linkage shift forks.

    Will it be possible to use the side linkage shift forks to modify the T90 floor shift tower to work on the T86?

    Yes but one shift fork needs changed and all the guts must be changed.
