Anyone out there running a pair of old Advance Adapter W/S clamps for a flatfender. I dug up an old set and when bolted to the tube at the bottom of the windshield, they are about 30 degrees off from being vertical when the windshield is in its up position. Anybody have a clue?

I have a set on my '53. They worked perfectly. I tried them on my trail rig which has a 100% repro body and they didn't line up at all. Is any of your jeep body repop?

You may have hit on it, if I recall when I originally built this jeep, I used a repro 3A windshield. Willys is a CJ2A. I should have some pictures in a day or two. It appears the holes in the windshield are angled downward and that forces the bracket upward. Will probably have to redrill the windshield frame.

Can you tell me, are the holes in tube of your winshield frame horizontal? In other words are the holes in the back side of the windshield about in the middle of the tube?

They are perpendicular to the sheet metal of my frame. If the windshield wasn't angled, yes they would be horizontal.

Come to think of it, is your windshield bent? A common problem with 2as and trees. ;)

The AA ones? I don't believe so. Might want to post up a WTB thread.
