changing the mounts for the wipers from above to below

    He evidently wants them under the windshield, instead of over it.

    It can be done. I've had one in my possession it was done to. It's very tight to do though. Much better to get a later frame as that moves the glass up for better visibility as well.

    Well I guess that answers that question. now what should I pay for a complete windshield frame, glass and wipers?

    Area can have a big effect on price but a nice relatively rust free unit in good shape, in complete useable shape, should be in the $200-$350 range.
