    Hi

Is there any experience with a conversion to yj leafs in the front to lift it for 33"tires. I read some treads but are not sure if the orgininal springs from a YJ are used or a lifted YJ spring.

I now have only 2 leafs in the front and it is way to stiff( see the picture) Don't know the brand

    Like to hear.

    Thanks

i just got yj packs into my 3b. you will need lift springs to run 33's in sua. some say 2.5" will do but i got a set of 4" lift springs and 33's fit perfect. mabey even a 35 if i lowered the bumpstops. also there are kits to redo the hangers if your not wanting to fab them yourself. check out this thread theres tons of good info in it.

as ******* said you'll need to change the spring/shackle hangers and the front springs are longer than cj's so location is affected as well
