I'd stick the carburetor you have on it and get it running..choke is over rated anyways.

I'd address the front wheel bearing/slop in the wheel before this weekend if it were me.
Doesn't take much effort to get to the wheel bearing.

Caps should be same size all the way around.
Except for the smaller V6 front shaft u-joints.
A good driveline shop could weld on new yokes if needed.
