SM465: show me your crossmembers!

    all you SM465 users. it seems i will have to do some cutting and welding to get the original crossmember to fit.

    did you fabricate a whole new one or modify the existing? pics please!!

    Cradle setup - may go to something closer to cj5/442 has depending on what I end up doing with skids and sliders.

    Hit my first rock with the SM465 this year - broke the rock ;)

    I narrowed the stock crossmember that came with it. This places the transmission way up. Notice the cut on the floor support at the yoke. I've since installed spacers to drop the crossmember a bit but the trans/t-case are still tucked way up there.

    That looks like Scott Milliner's set up.




    Might do a search as Scott Milliner has posted up pics several times of his set up as have others. Scott posted up recently, within the last two weeks or so.
