The rear wheel openings are going to be very tight with 34's. I'm not saying it can't be done but there isn't a whole lot of room there, especially on the front of the rear wheels.

    I got 33s on my 3b stock adding 2.5 to go 35s
just measure first before buying tires its really the only way to tell 35s for me just may be pushing it a bit but time will tell

Not going to work-sorry. With 2.5" Rancho springs, 1" body lift, and about 1" on the shackles, my 33's are still catching the rear corners on the rear axle at full compression-even after some body triming. You will also still need spacers to keep the front wheels off the frame at full turn using minimal backspaced wheels.

I don't even touch rancho parts anymore
    to many problems in past
another thing to remember no 2 lifts are the same
    example :
rancho has a 2.5 lift get about a 1.0 inch
daystar 2.5 gives about 1.75 inch
black diamond 2.5 gives 2.0 inch
same with tires my 33s are shorter than the 32s on my cherokee each brand differs
best advise before buying a lift or even tires is do your homework and a lot of measuring
    good luck with your lift

Bummer guys, dont want to lift it any higher. I was looking to run some 9.5" wide super swampers and they only offer them in 34" diameter. Looking for an aggressive tread on a norrow tire maybe in 31"x9.5". Any Ideas?

Yep, 31's will work fine and you might be able to get 32's on rub free. If one did not care about suspension travel, you could always space the bumpstops-sort of negates what I want a Jeep for, however.

I'm running 31x9.50 Interco TSL's with new replacement stock springs and a mild shackle lift. They clear everything just fine, except for a little rubbing at full lock. They also work GREAT off-road.

I say go for the 34"s. I think the rubbing will be minor and only at high flex or wheels turned sharp. I am running 34x10.50x15 super swamper LTBs on my flatty. I have 4.5" springs though. I kind of wish I would have gone with 2.5" springs as my Jeep sits a bit high in my opinion. My springs are still new and I am hoping that they will settle quite a bit when I start driving and flexing it. I think 34x9.50x15s should fit OK the other option is Interco has 32x9.5x15s in the bias line, witch should be close. Here is a picture of my Jeep with my 34x10.50x15s. I am sure the Jeep will settle yet but I have lots of clearance.

If I put a lift on the flatty it won't fit in the garage. :(

I know what you mean about not wanting to go any higher. I think as narrow as this thing is even with the wider than stock 79 narrow track axles, it would tip easy.

I run a 2 1/2 lift with 34x9.5 they will rub in the rear at full stuff and the lugs will rub the front springs at full turn.

Not enough to make me swap or go higher.

If your asking about the above 2a it has stock springs and 2" square tube between the frame and spring hangers
