Not V6, not CJ5's.... I want to see SBC or SBF powered Jeeps specifically of the engine bay. On that, I'm not sure I have room for a stock water pump....

    Yeah, he'll sell it.
He had a radiator and electric fan picked out from Summit.
You need to come up here.

Sammy go ahead and cut the fire wall.. You'll be glad you did in the long run, it will give you more room for a good size radiator and have some clearence for the fan. Also if you cut out the stock rad. shroud its a tight fit between the headlight buckets. Heres a pic of gold with a 360 and rad. in the engine compartment...it didnt cool worth a dam...

I'm not surprised, what with the fan so low, and no shroud.

the pic is a little deceiving, but it is a little low. I actually tried a shroud with no success either. It just boiled down to too small a rad, it was only a 19x21, when I moved it to the back I put in a 19x28, and it struggled to get over 200.

these have been posted here before, but mine will be modeled after these some day.
    built 400sbc, T350, D18, D25, D44.
These have the factory front xmember removed (tube) and a smaller rectangular xmember welded just in front of that location.
That frees up more room for the radiator (height) and neither one have mods to the firewall.
If you're careful with your planning, it can be done.

I got a feeling I'll have to cut the floor to make room for the SM420. Other then that, I'm ok with cutting the grill shell and the front crossmember needs to be gone anyway. I'm also considering going power steering with the swap. Jim, do you know if/ how bad they had to cut the headlight buckets? I'm looking at electric fans too as well, they offer pusher and puller fans. If it's on the backside of the radiator (facing the engine) I want it to pull correct?

It all fits, including short stock wp, 19" fan, shroud, ps, pb, york, and welder (latter not yet installed but control box will replace aluminum relay box). Not easy-but can be done. I did indent the firewall about 1 1/2" when I was laying it up.
