I need to find some headers for my dauntless 225 v6, and I can't find a durn thing. If this goes on, I'll just have to try my hand at crafting some

I've been running Advance Adapters headers since June '98. Nice, thick flanges, haven't had a leak yet and no burn thru. Yes, they are more expensive than some; but worth it IMHO!!

Summit has Hedmans. FWIW, the Hedmans on my Jeep outlasted (they're still good) the Advance Adapters headers my Dad had. His rusted out where the 3 pipes come together. He's got Hedmans now.

Be sure to discuss the application when you order headers from Novak. I discussed it with them...IIRC, the Sanderson's will interfere with one stock motor mount location on stock set ups. They're designed for swaps, not stock set ups. (... that's how I remember it but I could be wrong... Talk to Eric at Novak.)

I also recommend using Header Buddys at the collector, instead of the flange and gaskets that always leak:

I purchased hedman headers they were belled at the collector no gaskets needed been running only a short time but Im very satisfied so far. It did take a long time to get them when I ordered them not an off the shelf item.

I have used the AA ones - and have a new set on the shelf.

Right now I am working with Eric at Novak to redesign the Headers to be more swap friendly - the stock ones they have (I have some in the shop now) work with the stock motor mounts. We are tweeking them to work with Stock and conversion setups.

They are made by Sanderson - got a plate right on them.

Flanges on the AA are by far the best at sealing and holding gaskets-3/8" thick. The tubes give out long before the hedmans however. I have had several sets of AA and have never had to change a gasket on one due to failure.

I knew there was a redesign of the Sandersons in the works... I guess I didn't remember the details well enough
Kind of like a camera memory card... once you exceed capacity, some things just drop out to make room for other stuff ;) :D

Yup - know what you mean, I had a digi card swap done... Didn't help.

Maybe I should stop drinking and save those brain cells?

Nah - life is too stressful to stop drinking. Got to do my part and recycle, may as well start with the brain cells :)

Just an update for those interested in the Novak Sanderson Headers - got the Pass Side Header today that fixes all the fit issues. We may still shorten the Drv Side when we can get it pushed through Sanderson to have the flange at the top of the frame.

    Got pics on My Site

Those look awesome! I notice in the pics the motor mounts off the frame are not stock. Are these going to be engineered to clear the stock motor mounts?
