It's starting to get cold, so I went ahead and installed the soft-top on my Jeep. I noticed that the two black plastic pieces that run vertically along the windshield (inside the cab on the far sides of the windshield) that the soft-top metal frame "plug" into are cracking. I was wondering if there are replacements for these?

    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

Hate to bump messages, but I have been looking for this part for a while now. I just can't find out what it is called and/or where to buy it :(

That is a good question because they are cracked on one of mine too but I have never thought about trying to replace them til now.

I guess the obvious question is what brand of top is it? If the company is still in business, they may be able to sell replacement parts.

Forward upper support rod mounts ? Windshield softtop rod supports? How about a small piece of flat stock and tack a tube to it ? Stronger than plastic.
