Need A Dauntless Air Cleaner

Anyone have a source for the original air cleaner for a dauntless v6?d

 

Keep checking on ecj5, eBay and Facebook Jeep groups. May take a while, but they come up. (I just sold one to a member here)

 

Are you doing a resto or just missing the cleaner?

The 2G series stock carb came on about a bizzilion GM products back in the 60's and 70's. Finding either a stock GM filter housing from another application or aftermarket chrome one should be pretty simple.

 

I have a dry type air cleaner from a 1970 Dauntless that I could sell.
Was sandblasted and repainted with epoxy primer and topcoats.

This includes the unassembled small plastic valves, spring etc.
You can find a new spacer (riser) and new decal for it on eBay.

 

Old time how tall is riser? Trying restore 71 dry type.

 

This air cleaner is correct for 1970/1971 Dauntless.
