Brought Another One Home Today

Just happened to see this last week on marketplace, drove 2 1/2 hrs to check it out. Ad read too good to be true. 47 2A- 283 powered, overdrive, SM420, 3.15 equipped Dana 18, powerlok in front 25 axle, lockrite in dana 41. 5.38s. Swing pedals, came with 4 Brennan disc plates to be put on, came with a good tiger top that looked like new. lots of extra goodies too. Brand new 700 x 15s on bronco rims, oh well. Runs like a top just needs the clutch pedal changed to hyd.

Holy cow. What a nice starting point.

 

The person I bought it from decided they needed a more road worthy vehicle for his teenagers to drive.
Got a good look at the fancy generator on it. turns out it is a Power Master 90 amp alt that looks like a vintage generator. $$$ Still working on my phone cameras setting for taking pics below the 1M limit to upload to the forum.
Oh forgot to mention it has a overdrive and receipts from Herm for the drivetrain-trans, adapter, rebuilt D18, with 3:15 gears. somebody spent a bunch.

Drooling over the pictures it looks like the clutch cross tube is now short with the driveline moved over. The clutch linkage also has the bend that will wear the pivot holes early.

Might consider looking at the tube and doing heim joints instead of the yoke ends for the rods
