How long is a Willys flat head straight 6 from the back of the block to the water pump?

Yes, the 226 and the front of the water pump where the fan bolts on.

You know the next question is "what are you thinking of doing with a 226"? :)

A ford 200 inline 6 was a popular swap back in the day.

Back when I had your old 2A and wanted to do an engine swap before figuring out I was a fool and liked the Go Devil I thought about a six cylinder candidate but they all seemed too long and firewall and grill mods were necessary. I wanted to put a 225 slant six and NP435 in there. Still think a Flathead V8 would be a period correct mod.

Guessing you want a 226 for a more or less "bolt in" to your T18?

Studebaker 6 iirc is an option

Yes, the 226 would bolt right up.
